Not sure what to say?

Dear Family,

My thoughts and prayers are with you in this difficult time. Please know that my family has always held yours in the highest regard and our hearts are with you as you bear your loss.

I was a close friend of Joe's grandfather, Joseph L. Mullinax, Sr., in Greenville and Asheville, and have done a very poor job of staying in touch with the family, but when I heard the news of your loss, I knew I should let you know how very much I care.

My...

Dear Chris and Becca, You know of course that we are sad beyond words. We are sure that the love and affection you have received in the past days shows what you two know best, that Joe was loved by oh so many people and this will give you the strength you need to continue on. Everyone probably tells you that that is what Joe would want and you know that is true. We love you both. Come to visit us, where ever we are and you know we will love to come to visit you. Christine I am soooooo sorry for your lost. My prayers are with you and your family.

With deepest sympathy,

Our thoughts and prayers are with you in your time of grief. May your memories bring you comfort.

I haven't seen this precious cousin in years but it doesn't mean the sorrow or my affection for him is lessened. Along side my brother, I watched him grow up. As my brother's best man, I bought Lattie black shoes to wear the next day in the wedding. There is a bath tub story involving Gene and Lattie as young boys that is a little to colorful for this book but it will make me belly laugh every time I think of it. My heart goes out to Lattie's family. We will not get over this horrific loss.

We are so deeply saddened by this great loss. Our hearts and prayers are with all of the family. South Carolina ball games will never be the same. Joe, we will miss you but will never forget your wit and charm and great love for the Gamecocks. Fond family memories go back to childhood days in Williston when the Gilchrists and Mullinaxes ruled the neighborhood. Little did we know that years later we would become neighbors again at Williams Brice Stadium...God speed, friend. Our love to all...
