Not sure what to say?

As a weekly visiting volunteer with the VNA, I had the wonderful privilege of listening to Joe's humorous, and sad, stories of his beautiful life. When Joe and I were looking at photos of his time in Italy during his WW ll service I told Joe that my wife and I had a trip planned to Italy at that time and I promised Joe I would have my wife photograph me in many of the same spots where he was posed in the photo album. I was truly excited, when we returned, to share those photos with Joe, but...

I worked at Angelo's Deli, and we even named our dog after Michael. (Murph) I remember how Mr Murphy waited until I cleaned the slicer to come in to get his bolgna. He was someting else. I am so sorry for your lost. Sincerely, Judie. My thoughts and prays are with your family . Sincerely , Judie Neabor Hall

An American author from the 1860's, Sarah Orne Jewett, summed it up the best in one of her short stories when a character, speaking about the importance of friendship, says : "Yes'm, old friends is always best, 'less you can catch a new one that's fit to make an old one out of".
God bless my friend Joe. He taught...

To Mike and The Murphy Family, our deepest heartfelt compassion during the sacred passing of your most honorable father. Enjoyed meeting him with Fuji at his side and listening to stories and watching a good ballgame. Love, Blessings..Godspeed, Emil,Betty Guarino and Family, Florham Park, NJ.

To the Murphy Clan...so sorry to hear about the loss of your Dad...we will miss seeing him sitting on the deck of the beach house enjoying the sea breezes surrounded by his great family....Millie, Don & Sean Walsh

What a sweetheart of a man! I only had the pleasure of just meeting Joe last year. He will surely be missed. He lives on in his wonderful kids and beautiful grandchildren! Xoxo

To the Murphy family: I have wonderful memories of your both parents from forty plus years and of course the Murphy "children" and the Vailsburg years. What a wonderful family! I also worked with mother in Essex county and shared many memories. May God bless all as you celebrate Dad's life. May he rest in peace. Kevin and Ellen McEnroe Golding.
