Read MoreA memory: My 92 father worked with Joe @ Brueners in 1940. He tells the story of he & Joe going to The Dawn Club after work to hear Lu Watters. They encountered a lost seaman who wanted to find the club & Dad said "follow us". He followed & sat with Dad & Joe. Joe was none to happy about it & wouldn't talk to the guy...he was an English sailor.
