So sorry for your loss. I met Joe when I worked for Dr. Vazquez in St. Clairsville Ohio. I will always cherish the autographed baseball that Joe and Phil signed for me.

Coach Joe,
You would not believe how my life has changed the past 6 months. I never knew you teaching me the knuckle ball would change my life so much. I am honored to have articles written abouth how " Joe Niekros knuckle ball lives through the arm of a 12 yr. old girl." I am glad to be that girl.
I miss and love you and wish you could be here to experience all these great moments with me.
I will try my best to make you proud.
love you,

We were from Houston, Texas and had season tickets, for years, to the Astros games, where we watched Joe Niekro...
