I am sorry for your loss. Joey was a nice guy. We grew up with the Nozawa boys back in the 1950's and early 1960's. We would help them with their piggery chores, then we would go surfing at Kualoa Point. We looked forward to Joey's birthday every year. On New Years eve, Mr. Nozawa and sons would prepare the ground to cook the pig he slaughtered earlier. Mrs. Nozawa ( Hana) would prepare the food. The pig went into the ground earlier in the day.
