Joseph, you have made your final general quarters. We all are grateful for your stepping up to the plate when your country needed you the most. A job well done fellow navy war veteran. America thanks you for your service to our country in the defense of freedom. The USS Mercury is now on station preparing for your final departure. The final volley has sounded and taps is about to sound ending a successful career as a nation´s defender. Smooth sailing shipmate.

I graduated with Joe. As a cheerleader I cheered for him and our Easton Red Rivers.we often got together with "Our Gang" at the canon at 12th and Wood and Bushkill streets. Those were the days! R.I.P. Joe .

I remember Joe from my days in the Magnetic Oxide Department at Pfizer in the 1980's. Sadly, he is now at least the 5th person from the lab that is now gone. Farewell, Joe.
