I was hit today by a memory of a day spent working with Joe. Over time he became more like an uncle to me. We stayed in touch for many years. We lost touch when I moved to Maine but today I had such a strong memory of him I googled him. I was sorry to hear of his passing but very glad to have known and spent time with him.
