Not sure what to say?

I played trumpet in Emmitt's combo in the early 70's. I had fun and made a few bucks .A fine person and musician.

Selfishly ..I miss the opportunity to do more work together. R) Peace..

I remember the first time I saw Emmett, he was playing a concert for my Junior High as the clarinet player in the Bell Street Housewreckers. We hadn’t met but I knew I wanted to play music with him, and not only that but we became life long friends. He was student teaching my senior year in high school and that is when our friendship really started. He helped me and tutored me in my first year of college theory, gave me a job playing in a strolling dixie band at country club center mall,...

I dropped the reel, in his mail box, as he desired, and a few weeks later, I received the results. He fit his part in, and it was perfect for the song. I never did meet him personally, and regret that. Thank you Emmett. Your musical memory, will be with with me, and whomever...

Emmett was a very talented Musician, who played many different instruments with perfection. He was a sweet quiet person that shined when he was performing. A real one man show with his humor and quick wit, when he entertained his audience. He will be missed by our family. R I P Emmett, you were a unique special person & most of all, a loving, dedicated life partner for 25 yrs in my Mom's life. Namaste.

Emmett played in Cell Block 7 for several years and is on 4 of their CD's....a wonderful musician for sure! His vocals were interesting and done very well...
