Joe was one of the finest men I've ever met. A wonderful husband and father, and a very special man. His stories about raising sheep, his ranches, and love of flying I will remember always (I know more about sheep than most). I was honored to be able to call him my friend. I will miss him dearly.

To the Otondo Family: My heartfelt sympathies go out to the family and friends during this difficult time. I hope that the promise in 1 Thessalonians 4:14 can bring comfort. Knowing that there's a hope for the ones we have lost in death can be so reassuring.

May the God of all comfort strengthen the family during this time of deep sorrow. Those who pass on, God keeps in his memory because they are precious in his eyes. Psalms 116:15.

Joe will be greatly missed. He was the same age as my
oldest brother, Clay. I am sure they knew each other.

I had the distinct privilege of knowing Mr. Otondo and his spectacular wife Dorothy while growing up in Yuma. They were a shining example of a loving couple, great parents, and wonderful members of our Yuma community.
