rest in peace

Dr. Packales was a gifted composer and an inspiring teacher and mentor. He will be missed by all who knew him.

The news of Joe's passing has reached El Paso, and I am saddened to lose an old friend who shared so much of his life with me! Condolences to all who knew and loved him! The world is an emptier place without him, but Heaven is so much richer now...

I will remember him as a gifted musician. I am glad that he is at peace.

Joe will always be remembered as an outstanding teacher and brilliant man. He is at peace.

Dear Barbara: David and I are so sorry for your loss. May your memories of Joe keep you strong.

My deepest sympathies to Barb and family at this most difficult time. I enjoyed making music with Joe~ what an amazing talent. The world has lost a great musician and composer.

Make a joyful noise to the Lord, Joe. In death as in life, your music will carry you on the wings of angels. Life will not be the same without you.

I feel extremely blessed to have had Joe as my dear friend and teacher. My life is richer in so many ways because of his presence in it. I am deeply saddened by his passing and will miss him tremendously.
