Dear Debbie,
I am very sad about Joe's passing. I remember how handsome he looked in his uniform and how patient hecwas with us too. I didn't know he died until today, otherwise, I would have been there for you Debbie. I do miss and love you. Please give me a call i have the same # and still in San Diego.

Love,
Araceli

My condolences to the Pate family, on their loss of Joe. I remember him well, being part of one of the families, that gave 30th Street it’s charm, of being an old time neighborly neighborhood. May He Rest In Eternal Peace

I’m sorry for your loss, relatives and friends of Joe Pate. Joe and I were friends in the 1960’s neighborhood and I remember good times hanging out there at the house on 30th and Harper streets. We lost contact over the years, I moved out of the Bay Area. Ironically I live close to Downieville but never knew he had a connection to the area. Condolences, and prayers.

Sorry for your loss Debbie. We went to School together and I live on Day and Noe Street. My condolences to your family and my thoughts and prayers are with all of you. God Bless You all!

Joe was a good man and a great friend. He will be missed. So many fond memories of the Pate family. Working with Joe was a blast. Thought about him so many times over the years. Give Rick a big kiss for me and save me a beer. I'll see you guys soon. RIP Honey Bucket.

Grief can be so hard, but our special memories help us cope. Remembering you and your loved one today and always.

May the love of friends and family carry you through your grief. May his memory be eternal. We had a lot of good times together. Prayers & love to you all
