A fixture in the Kotkowski household and my dad´s best friend since first grade at St. Raphael . We will dearly miss our Uncle Joe. I will miss his witty banter and his love for my homemade chili every Halloween the most. I live by his rule of M&Ms for a treat in the summer (won´t melt in your hands in the heat) and Reese´s cups in the winter (no sticky fingers in the cold). As a fellow Bay High student I remember Joe as a talented photographer and integral member of the yearbook staff. It was relatively common to see Joe running around during the school day or at extracurricular functions in a motivated fashion out to capture the essence of the moment in a photograph (of course, film back then). It might have been an effort for Joe but I always enjoyed it when I happened to see him at work with his camera -- literally a genius at work! BHS, 1976
