Joe and I worked at Beaver Dam Swim Club for several years and I knew his family from Govans and St.Marys Church. In the 70s we vacation with friends on the Outer Banks of NC. Great guy and a good friend. I miss him and I wish the best for his family. So young

As friends and neighbors of the Perticones it felt as if I’d run into Joe everywhere - the gym, Starbucks, local eateries. He would always have a smile on his face, remember the most arcane details of our kids and have a wry question about the latest market insanity. We could go many months without seeing each other, but when we did it was as if not time had passed. His family and his life long friends are mourning the loss of our "Jimmy". Our hearts are heavy bidding him farewell. Jimmy to us all and, at times, Seamus to his Irish mother. Love forever, dear brother.

Who knew he was Uncle Jim to his nieces and nephews. Joe was just our Joe at WB - one of many in our gang that walked the golf course carrying our bags, playing our own games and every now and then hearing great shot...what a putt...or too bad..good try! Joe was a regular in the group - an organizer of a game and an entertainer on the golf course. He would have the foursome rolling in laughter with his great stories and just regular every day stuff that he would share during a round of golf!...

Over the past few years I became a regular golfing buddy to Joe. Joe’s dedication to continued improvement was relentless as he would text me on some of the coldest days in the winter to go out and play a round. Always a competitor, it would make his day when he outdrove me but was always gracious. We had many wonderful conversations about the books he was reading, the geopolitics he had to deal with at work and the birds we would spot when playing. Always a gentleman, I will miss this great...

Joe was my college roommate at Princeton. Our senior year we lived in Cottage as fellow officers. Joe was a great friend, indomitable spirit and full of energy. I remember our pilgrimage to watch Princeton play John Hopkins in lacrosse finishing our field trip by visiting a local tavern to drink National Bohemian beer. Who ever heard of eating French fries with gravy? Our junior year our clubmates rented a Winnebago and eleven hearty souls headed to Boston to play touch football against the...
