Not sure what to say?

We remember you today Ambassador Petrone as your legacy continues to live on in our Chapter of the Association of the United States Army. Please continue to watch over Augusta and all of us who were honored to know you.

What a life well lived! I was fortunate to serve under Ambassador Petrone in Geneva. I will always remember him as a very kind and honorable man, devoted to his gracious wife Augusta. A typical gesture I cannot forget was his letter of encouragement to my sister during her battle with cancer. May he rest in peace.

He was a dear friend, a wonderful loving husband, and served his country well, in uniform and afterwards. May God rest his soul.

I will never forget Joe! What Character! A walking history book, dynamic story teller & charasmatic personality! How could anyone forget?! A true Patriot & American who loved this Country & served with everything he had.. to the very end! How he adored Augusta, his beautiful wife! What a Team they were, tirelessly working to keep America the Country He fought & sacrificed so hard for! She is still in the trenches today! He left a hole in our hearts for sure! No... I will never forget you...

Our country and our lives are better because of Joe. We are eternally grateful for his service to our Nation while in the military and after. Thank you Augusta for sharing him with all of us.

He was a good friend, a wonderful loving husband and he served huis country in uniform. May Goid rest his soul.
