Joe was a good friend of mine in the days of our youth in Venezuela. I won't forget our days of flying over the Orinoco River and the Amazon River! He also remained a good friend to many of my family members in Venezuela. Our friendship remained strong after we both moved to the States. He and Diosalina and the kids (even the dog!)all came to Ohio to our wedding back in 1987.
