There couldn't have been a better person to build our Bakery in 2000 on the corner of Cedar and Herndon then Joe Pickett and his son Joe. What a great guy -very happy , professional and accommodating for our needs at Eddie's.

My wife Philly and I only were able to know Joe the last couple of years as neighbors in Marina. Both he and Shelley are so sweet. Great man we will miss.

To the Pickett family....
I am sorry for your loss. Mr. Pickett was an extremely humble human being. I was a member of the Bullard Marching Band along with Amy and Stacey. Mr. Pickett along with Mrs. Pickett would always cook for the band, they would feed us breakfast, lunch and dinner on those long band meets all those years ago. Heaven has gained a very excellent cook. I always appreciated the Pickett's for their compassion. Thank you Mr. Pickett you will be sorely missed.

Joe I shall miss your telephone calls and emails. You were my long time friend and we have been down many, many trails together over a lot of years. You certainly made a positive contribution to the Building Association on a local, state and national level. Our prayers and thoughts go out to Shelley and your family. Barbara and O.B. Johnson
