My kids always liked seeing him riding the bike up and down the street. This article was written by Stephanie Faughnan and appeared in The Southern Ocean Times newspaper and on Jersey Shore Online. RIP Joe! https://www.jerseyshoreonline.com/southern-ocean/the-man-on-the-blue-bike-joe-pinto-remembered/

Cousin Joey... I was so sorry to hear of this. I will always remember how much you enjoyed going up to Konner´s Yard to be by the trucks. May you Rest in Peace. Will definitely plant a tree in your memory. Michael

I was so very sorry to hear about Joe's passing. I knew him when he attended Essex County Vocational School in West Caldwell. He was so friendly and so helpful. He was a total joy always! May he rest in peace.

Joes smiling face, and love of cake will surely be missed by the girls at stafford. Most particularly, his closest friend joanne, but he was loved by all. Always full of mischief, he used to love to get me to give him whip cream or ice so he could mess with kayla. Dont worry joe, ill still mess with her for you! Love, amy.

Thrift stores, McDonald´s, Taco Bell, Joe loved them all. And scratch offs....will miss you my friend.. my 10:30 on the dot caller.
