Not sure what to say?

I knew and worked with J.C. along with Henry Batiste, Clayton Lewis and the entire broadcast crew. He was a master of his craft. He knew the game and that's what he called. We all miss him very much.
God Bless.

God made only one. To the family of my friend, "J.C." Politz. You have been truly blessed to have had such an outstanding personality in your family.I met J.C. over thirty years ago and the last day was the same as the first day, he was just an honest, good and decent man with an undeniable love for Southern University and sports. If it was football, his clear perception would seat you on the fifty yard line, if baseball directly behind the catcher and basketball, you would be center court. He...

My thoughts and prayers are with you in your time of grief. May your memories bring you comfort.

As a very young kid in the third grade at North Highlands Elementary in North Baton Rouge, I so distinctly remember sitting in front of the very large, very old RCA Victrola Radio in our family room and listening intently to the "LSU-Ole Miss Game" that Saturday night. I will never forget "the call" of the Billy Cannon run back. I will always remember the goal line stand later in the game. The reality of it is burned in my memory. I became a real LSU fan that night. I became a real...

I will miss you, next foor neighbor. You were wise and passed along you wisdom. Go be with your sister. Take care of in heaven as you did for her here on earth. Goodbye J.C.

To the Family of JC, what a remarkable person he was. I had the pleasure of working with him for several years while he broadcast the Southern University Football games. He taught me a lot not only about football, but life in general. He will be genuinely missed by all who knew him.

You were my introduction to LSU Football. You made the game come alive over the airwaves. We will not see the likes of you again, but your voice will live with LSU fans forever. Godspeed.

I call J.C. a friend since we first met on the set of the "Hit Or Miss" television show on WBRZ. I remember his bright, often laughing expression. I treasured hearing his call of Billy Cannon's run while I was in the barracks at Fort Jackson, S.C. It was always a pleasure to visit with J.C. down through the years. We had commonality of a love of sports and a joy of life.

In Paradisum deducant te angeli, J.C.

Mr. J. C. was a lovely person that I so enjoyed chatting with every year when he came by the office to have his taxes done. I am so sorry for your loss. He was just a jewel to visit with. I will miss him greatly.
