Dad's spirit lives on and always will. The times he laughed, gave advice, or just listened will always be in the memories of all those he touched. His love, as well as Mom's, will be with us forever.

We will never forget the times spent at the cabin and driving around, hiking and exploring the mountains, and our 'favorite' swimming hole in Kettle Creek.

Let us not forget, "Old soldiers never die, they just fade away".

Yesterday was a beautiful day - a celebration of the life of Grandpa. You were loved my many and will always be in our hearts. We will miss you just as we still miss Grandma. But now you can both look over us all and watch as we all continue our journey through life on this earth.

To my dearest family, some things I'd like to say...
but first of all, to let you know, that I arrived okay.
I'm writing this from heaven. Here I dwell with God above.
Here, there's no more tears of sadness; here is just eternal love.

Please do not be unhappy just because I'm out of sight.
