Joe was larger than life in high school. A great athlete and all around nice guy. Joe had a great smile and was intimidating as a fullback on St. Ed´s football team and catcher on the baseball team. Oh Joe. St Brendan´s. Played football, baseball, all sorts of carrying on with Joe. I was smart enough not to get on the wrestling mat with him.
