Not sure what to say?

If this is the Joe Powers who served aboard the USS Shreveport in the mid-70´s I served with him. He was a great guy with some outlandish stories that I´m sure were all true. I still think of him.

So sorry to hear the passing of our cousin, Joe. Wish I knew him better and also to have hung out more with him when we were growing up. He did work on our house roof and was really a funny guy. Had a lot of laughs. Our deepest sympathy to the the family and may God give you the faith and strength during this time. Love, Kevin, Jean and Janeen Powers

Cousin Joey, you will be missed. Although we didn't get to see a lot of each other, when we did, you always made me laugh and your smile would light up the world. My love and condolences to all of the family.

Our sincere sympathy to the family in hearing of Joe passing. He was a nice guy with a good heart. Fond memories of joe playing at the VFW Hall and back in the 80's roofing our house with his young sons in toe. Cousin Eileen and husband Rich Fabish.
