Not sure what to say?

My prayers are with the family during your loss. Joe was a fantastic man and the best friend anyone could ask for. Anytime I needed help, he was there for me. I could always count on a funny story, or just that special, devilish laugh that was his alone. Shaffer Trucking isn't the same without him. I will miss him deeply, and will always cherish the time that I knew him.

All my deepest sympathies. The last time I saw Joe and his family was about 20 years ago. I have nothing but good memories of them, and especially Joe's kindness during one of the hardest times of my life. He'll truly be missed.

Joe, was a person to remember, always kind, ready to help the next person. He had so much caring in him. I hope his children will always remember what a great person he was, and try to follow in his footsteps. There should be more people in the world like him. My prayers are with you all-Becca take care.

Pat Wagner (Hanover, Pa)

He was a very nice man and was so good to Rebecca and Devin. You are all in my prayers....Rebecca's aunt

My thoughts and prayers go out to Joe's family. I had the pleasure of working with Joe for 2yrs at Shaffer and he always had a funny story to tell and a smile on his face. Joe would do anything for anyone, even after I left Shaffer, years later Joe was there to help me move - he wouldn't accept anything in return, it's just how he was. He will be greatly missed.

Joe was a dear friend. Someone who I could confide in. I enjoyed our rides to and from work where we would have great conversations especially about camping. Although we only got to go one time. Joe was always willing to lend a hand. He will be dearly missed.

I will always miss Joe, even though I am not married to his daughter, I still considered him as my father-in-law and he called me his son-in-law when he was introducing me to everyone, I love him like he is my own dad. I will miss him, he always made me laugh and always was there when we were having problems with anything. he will truly be missed by everyone!

it took us forever to do it but this was our victory pose!

My dad was the best dad anyone could ask for, he was the most honest and caring man in the world and as everyone who ever met him or came across his path knew he would do anything for anyone. He will be missed and his memory will forever stay with everyone, I loved him and will miss him very much!
