Not sure what to say?

We are sol very sorry to hear of Joe's demise. Please know that our thoughts and prayers are with the family.

Skipper and Chella South

Joe helped a lot of young mis-directed kids to become men, and to set goals for their life. VF-103 was fortunate to have two great Przylepa brothers. Know that he was a loved and respected gentleman. Till we sail again...............

John and family

I had the privilege of serving the line crew from 56 to 58. I was a very green kid out of the cornfields of mississipppi.I espescially remember the years with the f8.I'd like to send my thoughts and prayers to you and your family at this time of sorrow and to thank you and joe for helping me grow up.

Thanks for all your help keeping me aware of the dangers on the flight deck of the Aircraft Carrier USS Forrestal and for making me a better sailor. My prayers are with your family during this time of grief. God Bless

It was great have the opportunity to see both of you again, after 50 years, at our first VF 103 reunion.
John, please accept my sincere sympathy.

Dear John, Barbara, & Michael,
As a member of VF103 I knew Joe, I worked the line at Cecil Field, The USS Forrestal and at Oceana NAS and he and his brother John were my peers. I was a green kid when I reported aboard at Cecil Field and it was not long in becoming what I considered a friend of Joe. It was funny now that I really stop and turn the pages back over 50 years but our first meeting was very funny, I walked into the line shack and John was standing there or I thought it was...

I was also a shipmate of Joe & John in VF-103 in 1958/1959.Both Przylepa twins had a nickname for most all the guys that they were in charge of. They always called me "Donny Boy", go do this or that. I disliked the nickname for vanity reasons but dearly loved & repected the twins. If you did a good job for them they remembered you for special duty TAD assignments. Like all shipmates, the DC reunion was Top Notch
and the Twins appearance was the icing on our cake. My deepest sympathy,...

Joe was departing the Sluggers of VF-103 when I arrived as a young ensign and pilot. His legacy was already intact and
remained through our recent reunions. Joe was a Patriot and served his country with honor.
We now honor him with our fond memories and appreciation for the opportunity to have known such an American.
Rest in Peace Shipmate.
Red Best, Rear Admiral, USN, Ret

Farewell and following seas Joe. We now have the watch and will make you proud. You were a true patriot and a great sailor.

You will be missed terribly by all your VF-103 shipmates.
