My deepest condolences to the Puliafico family. I have missed seeing your Dad and just googled his name to find he had passed in September. I am so sorry to read this news. Last time I saw him he was heading to Ireland, which he enjoyed so much. He said he was staying longer this time and I'd thought he was still there. I have cleaned your Dad's teeth for years. Joe was one of life's gentlemen. He was a held in the highest regard by his neighbours and the community in Muigh Inis and in Carna in Ireland - his second home.
He became involved in groups that were endeavouring to promote better infrastructure and job opportunities in the community. His presence was always an uplifting experience.
Joe brought a positive attitude, a convivial atmosphere and good fun wherever he went and he must have got to know half of the people of Connemara....

The most important aspect of my father's life was his choice to be a Catholic. My mother used to joke with us that he walked to his own baptism, which was true. I should, to borrow from Father Scalia, say a practicing Catholic because he had not yet become perfect at it.

Joe. A loving Father, Grandfather, Brother, Uncle, Neighbour and most of all a wonderful Friend. Word cannot describe the sadness of losing you.
