Not sure what to say?

So long, Joe. In our high school yearbook, I stand next to you with the skeleton in Mr. Palmer's physiology class. Wasn't that yesterday? And wasn't it yesterday that you and Bill Philson and I camped by the creek and skipped stones? I have known you since our playground days. I admired you then, and I admire you now, and though we were long out of touch, I know that we will be sitting back together again some day for a good long chat. God bless you and your family, old friend. Bob...

Knew Joe as a Penn State student and Campus 4-H'er. When he came to the 4-H Office, he was always a delightful young man to talk to and interact with.

Dear Katie and family,
Our deepest sympathy to you on your loss. You all are in our thoughts and prayers. May you find comfort and peace in God's love and His promise of everlasting life. God bless you all,
The Kane family

Katie and family I am so very sorry for your loss you are in my thoughts and prayers. Joe was such a good man to work for ( I was his housekeeper) and he will truly be missed

Millie, Katy, and Family: I remember Joe as a young cousin I played with at Mam's and Pap's farm, drifted apart over the years, but reacquainted through FaceBook. His wit enjoyed and so agreed with his desire to conserve our natural resources through alternative sources. Cherish your memories, share your memories and Joe will live on. Positive thoughts sent your way.

Katie, and Family,
We cousins in Huntingdon are so saddened by Joe's passing. Didn't know him much as a man, only through Facebook, but surely loved him as a boy ! We'll attend memorial in Bellefonte tomorrow.
