Not sure what to say?

We were very saddened to hear of the passing of Joe. He was a great individual and mentor to me for the last decade. His interest was always first and foremost on the welfare of each and every member of the Hogan family and was genuinely interested in how our lives were going. We will miss him dearly. Our deepest sympathies to Barbara and all his family.
Yours sincerely,
Bill, Darlene, Josh, Jess & Jordanna Hogan

Joe & Barbara were my "opera parents" for two summers at the Chautauqua Institution, where I was working with the opera company. They graciously opened their home, their laundry facilities, and their kitchen to me throughout the summers. Joining them for meals was the best - it took forever to finish eating, what with Joe's constant stream of jokes. It was my privilege to have known such a generous, hilarious, and caring individual. I will never forget him.

Dear Barbara & Family,
Our hearts, thoughts, and prayers are with you.Joe will be missed ,especially his quick wit and positive attitude.

We will all miss Dr. Joe so very much. So glad we got to see him in Chautauqua a few weeks ago. His fun and wit will always be remembered. His caring & love for our family made us all feel very special. The world was a lot more fun thanks to him. Our love, Lorelei, Harvey, Penny and Lisa

Joe was my great uncle. He was always very funny. I remember when i went to visit him he would always ask me if i wanted to go for ice cream before dinner. He always made me promise not to tell Aunt Barbara.

I will miss him very much

Dear Barbara and family, we will miss Joe and his quick wit. He always left us with a chuckle and a smile.
Our sincere condolences to you and the family.
