Miss you still, Joe and all of our adventures! Love to you, Leslie! You were his love and light, you made him happy every single day!

Dear Leslie, JJ and family,
Joe was my friend and my teacher. It's hard to say which was greater. As an adult learner, he encouraged me in his Statistics class to be more than I ever knew I could be. As my friend, he was true and loving and supported me through some trying days. I loved his spirit and we are blessed to have known him. I am very sorry for your loss, but we were lucky to have been a part of his life.

My thoughts and prayers go out to The Rasimas family. Mr Rasimas was a very unique man, and was very caring. He had helped my son in many ways. You will be greatly missed by many throughout the Middletown Area.

My thoughts and prayers to Mr. Rasimas' family. He was my principal all 5 years i was at Demey Elementary. I'll never forget how he helped me get through my parents divorce in 2nd grade with such words of encouragement. I never had another principal care so much about his students. I was very upset when i heard of his passing, such a great man who made such an impact in his students lives will never be forgotten.

God has called home another great man. Our thoughts and prayers are with you Leslie and JJ. Joe was one of a kind, shaping young children's lives as they passed through his halls. He was the only person that could refer to Hope as "Hopeless" and actually make her laugh. Rest in Peace Joe. You will be missed by the many hearts you touched.

Feeling so very blessed to know and love Joe and Leslie as they loved my family as if we were their own:) I loved to watch Joe's face light up when Maddie and Gillian would run over to "Grandpa Joe" and he would give them great big bear hugs to which they would burst into laughter knowing that whatever gift he had up his sleeve was well thought out and sure to be a hit:) Thank you for loving us, cheering us on, believing in me as an educator and for teaching me what it looks like to love...

Joe was such a wonderful principle to work for. He was great with my grandaughter Steffany. He had a lot of compassion for all the children.
