Not sure what to say?

To those who still visit this page, thank you for remembering Joe. To the person who paid to have this page remain open, thank you. The words left here by so many friends and family are still a comfort to me. And to those who have taken the time to write the comforting, humorous and thoughtful memories of Joe, I can't express the gratitude I have for all of you.

Merry Christmas.
Love, Angela

I didn't know Joe had passed. I had an argument with my wife and I said that Joe Rawls had the very best recipe for camp (Boy Scout) chili. He will be remembered as a very fine man even though I never got his chili recipe. Joe also spent a lot of time on HAM radio. NRRL or some variation. I hope that I am able to continue his legacy regarding the Boy Scouts, chili cook offs, and Boy Scout leadership that he exemplified. More leaders need to be like him.

It was one year ago tonight (7/28/12) I received the terrible news that you had died in a car accident. I miss you so much, and still can't imagine my life without you. Somewhere, the connection between my head and my heart just isn't there, because I can't believe you will not come walking through that door and everything will be alright.

You are missed every day, and will always be loved. May you continue to rest peacefully in the comforting arms of the angels, sweetheart. ?
