It was a pleasure working with Coach at SJB. Those were my very first years of teaching and he was an inspiration and excellent model of patience. He would be very proud of those kiddos today. Thank you, Coach. Condolences to the family, positive thoughts and prayers sent your way.

I was in his high school class at S.D.Lee high school. My wife read his obituary in the San Antonio paper this morning and looked Joe up in my 61 and 62 yearbooks. I also worked for NEISD in the Engineering Department after military retirement. Joe led an excellent life
And God will be proud to have him in heaven.
