Joe Reiss - at his 80th birthday

Mr. Reiss was my eighth grade science teacher in 1965/66 at Dedham Junior High and a fine and fun class that was and I remember it fondly. Dedham has lost an excellent teacher. My sincere condolences to your family.

Dear Mrs. Reiss, Joe and Donna, John and Tammy,
I am saddened by the loss of Mr. Reiss. He was a wonderful neighbor and teacher with a big heart! Please know that you are all in my thoughts and prayers. May all of your wonderful memories of Mr. Reiss bring you comfort during this difficult time.

I taught at Dedham Middle School where I knew Joe Reiss, a friendly, kind man. I recall telling him that I was planning a trip to Brussels, Belgium, where I would stay at a particular hotel. He had stayed at the same hotel when he was in the U.S. Army. Afterwards, we enjoyed talking about Brussels and the hotel. Joe was a great man and a dedicated teacher.

Dear Joe, I am so sorry to hear of your loss. Thinking of you and your family and keeping you all in our prayers.

John and family -- I'm so sorry for your loss. My thoughts and prayers are with you all.

Dear Reiss Family, Our thoughts and prayers to you on the passing of your dear Joe. A wonderful neighbor and teacher, he will be remembered fondly. With sympathy, The Pelaggi Family
