Just a note to express my sympathy to all Joe's family. Joe, Tommy Shickle and I were the closest of friends till I was about 10 years old and moved away. Joe and Tommy lived on Eagle St. and I was on Elm St. just above Eagle. I never heard from Joe or Tom since I moved away but till this day I think of them often wondering how they were doing. Now I have a good idea how Joe married, had children and served in the Navy in Korea. I also had a very similar life being married for 64 years...
