Joseph W. Robinson, Jr., 93, entered into eternal rest on Wednesday, March 26, 2025 at home. Born in Baltimore, MD, son of the late Joseph and Lillian (Stoney) Robinson, he grew up in Maryland. He lived in Chicopee before moving to Ludlow in 2019. He joined the Air Force at age eighteen and was in air traffic control for twenty-six years. Joseph was a letter carrier for thirty-one years for the Holyoke Postal Service.  He was a member of the American Legion Post 351 in Holyoke, and enjoyed playing pool and the Red Sox, classic country music, and having a good steak and a beer.  His wife Soyoko (Hamane) Robinson died in 2010. He leaves his daughters, Lisa Robinson, Irene Robinson, Kathleen Robinson all of Chicopee, a son Michael Robinson and his wife Shannon of CT, a brother, Frederick A. “Rob” Robinson of MD, a sister, Marlene Ferraiolli of MD, his grandchildren Danielle Czarnecki, Jessica Carrano, Mark Chatterton, Christine Robinson and Rachel Johnson and five great-grandchildren. The funeral will be Thursday, April 3, 2025 at 10am at the AGAWAM CURRAN JONES FUNERAL HOME, 745 Cooper Street followed by burial in the Massachusetts Veterans Memorial Cemetery.
