Not sure what to say?

How sad. Joe was one of the good guys. Another classmate from the Middletown High School class of 1956 has left us.

Our Uncle Joe was a kind, fun and generous uncle. He was always at all our family functions with his gracious, gentle way and great sense of humor, and we will miss him terribly. He was a loving and loyal brother to my father, and I will especially be forever grateful for his love and kindness during our own time of grief and sadness.

To the Roesch Family,

I knew Joe when I was in graduate school at S.U. and later when I taught at O.C.C. He was a wonderful, inspiring teacher whose students adored him. I vividly recall when they marched for him in a vain attempt to alter the decision not to grant him tenure at S.U. Rarely does such an outpouring of support for a professor take place. This reaction typifies the respect and love his students had for him throughout his career.

On a personal level, I found Joe...

To Dr. Roesch's family ...

I am so sorry to hear of his passing. What a marvelous teacher he was!! He truly made literature come to life and his passion, knowledge and wry sense of humor have been very fondly remembered over the years since I graduated from OCC in 1982.

May he rest in peace ....

Dear Linda, I am sorry to read about Joe's death. He was a very dear friend for over 35 years. I bought 2 music boxes from him. I tuned your piano 5 times 4 U in Syr. The last time I saw you was when Vera & I dropped off my disc box 4 repair. FYI Vera died 12/13/06.

My condolences in the passing of a kind, patient, and wonderful teacher. I attended OCC from '94-'97 and I always looked forward to attending his class.

To the Roesch Family,
I was very sad to hear about the passing of a wonderful man, Joe.
I met Joe many years ago when I had a music box for sale. I was fairly new to the antiques business so he could have taken advantage of me, but instead was very generous. Through the years I have recommended him for people who had a music box for sale or were looking for one.
He was a wonderful, kind man and will be greatly missed by his family and friends.

Deanna Boston, Canal...

The loss of a very dear friend and neighbor, never to be forgotten. Wonderful memories of times shared together will remain forever. Two great buddies reunited once again.

My favorite teacher ever.
