ROMANSKI, Joseph - Of Mt. Morris, age 86, died Friday, August 8, 2003 at Genesys Health Park. Funeral service will be held at 1PM Monday, August 11, 2003 at the Swartz Funeral Home, 1225 West Hill Road, Pastor Don Emery officiating. Burial in Crestwood Cemetery. Those desiring may make contributions to Trinity Missionary Church. Visitation 4-8PM Sunday at the funeral home. Joseph was born in St. Helen, Michigan on March 9, 1917. He was a member of the Eagles Club. Joseph retired from General Motors Buick Motor Division after 33 years. Surviving are daughter, Joan and husband LaVerne Petry of Flint; 5 grandchildren, Lori and husband John Addison, Shelly and husband Rob Gase, Timothy and wife Joyce Romancky, Kerri Dean and Gene Winn; 5 great-grandchildren; sisters, Mary Mason of Flint, Ellen Mackay of Vassar, June Massey of St. Helen, Ruthie and husband Jack Myers of West Branch; brothers, George and wife Wanda Romancky of St. Helen, Albert and wife Mary Romancky of Florida; special companion, Margaret Burkett of Mt. Morris. He was preceded in death by his beloved son, Thomas J.; sisters, Dorothy Haines and Ann Collins; brothers, John, Pete and Robert.
