MaryAnn Prayer and our sympathies to you and your family. My husband shares his memories of Mr Rose often. Nancy and Jonathan Gibson

My Dearest Maryann. I have known you and Joe for many years. I am heart broken that Joe has passed on. He came into my shoe store every year to buy the newest Sperrys for the summer season. He just had to look stylish for the Ocean House guest! He always had a smile and made me laugh with my heart. Joe was a very special person and I will not forget him. My heart goes out to you and your family. May your wonderful memories keep him alive and make you smile. He loved you dearly!

Maryanne so sorry to learn of Joe's passing. God bless his kind soul, you and yours during this difficult time. My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family.

My deepest condolences to you, Maryann, and your family. Thoughts and prayers are with you.

My most sincere condolences to the Rose Family! I met Mr. Rose when I was a Junior in High School. My immigrant parents were going to Stonington Adult classes to learn English and I would accompany them to act as their translator. It was then that Mr. Rose offered me my first job as his assistant, providing his employer would allow it. Well, I would spend the next two school years helping him in the classroom as his assistant and learning so much from him. Mr. Rose was as a gentle and...

Sending our deepest condolences to Maryann and the children. Joe was such a friendly outgoing person. So sorry for your loss.

So sorry to hear of Mr. Rose's passing. I had him as an English Teacher at Mystic Jr. High back in the 70's. I often wonder about my teachers if they are still around. May the God of all comfort be with the family as they grieve his passing.

Maryann and Family: My mother-in-law, Dorothy Cahoon (deceased) was a cook at Pawcatuck Middle School, Your husband convinced her to go to night school and get her GED. We have a picture of her holding her diploma and that was one of her happiest moments. If it weren't for Joe she never would have pursued that special event in her life. Linda and John Cahoon
