Not sure what to say?

Once in a while I will hear this voice say " Is that you Nic?" My voice is so much like my Mothers that it was hard to tell us apart on the other end of the phone. My Grandfather was more like a father to me while growing up. I can remember scribbling on a piece of paper or the chalkboard in the barn and he would make a masterpiece out of it! He'd get me for that $5 too but I'd give it to him in CHANGE! He'd gladly accept with a THANX NIC n a crooked smile. He taught me how to drive stick ON...

Dear Mrs. Ruffing and Family, My heart felt sympathy goes out to all. We are truly sorry for your loss of a legend a true cowboy. Mr. Ruffing was always there to lend a helping hand He was a true & kind type of man. He gave advice about the horses I hardly knew and had Cheri show my daughter what to do. May all your memories be happy ones and let him live in all your hearts forever. He will be sadly missed. Be strong life goes on. Sincerely, Terri,Joe, & Chelsea DiAntonio

No words can heal the ache that you all feel right now but please know that many people are thinking of you all even if you don't realize it. Joe was an amazing man, and we are honored to have known him. He was very special in many ways and never failed to bring a smile to our faces. I can still see him now sitting in his truck in the indoor..beer in hand..listening to his tunes. May he rest in peace. Our thoughts are with you all.

Joe was the only real father I ever had!I will miss him so much!! Here's two ya Joe Ruffing!! you were a credit to the whole human race, as I see it.

Ohhh...what do I say about my Pop? The things he did for me are endless. He gave me my nickname (T), he put a roof over my head, he found me my first car a Lincoln Towncar, he talked about that car alll the time. We shared many beers in his "man cave",well, as long as I gave him 5 bucks! He would mess with me in the woods during trail rides, laying face down in the dirt so not to scare the horses. Make indian noises as we would round a corner. He never hesitated to express his opinion about...

My heart goes out to the whole Ruffing family. I have so many fond memories of working there on the farm and being around the whole family. Every morning I would look up on the porch and Joe would be sitting up there with a smile and a wave without fail. Some days I would be lucky enough to go into the indoor where he would have his truck parked and he would be singing. Always such a kind hearted man, you were never a stranger to Joe Ruffing. He will be sadly missed and I am sure he is up...

When I think about my childhood I think about the farm. I spent many summer vacations there, well at the time I thought it was going to be vacation until the Ruffings put me to work. :) And if it wasn't for Poppop Ruffing I wouldn't have those memories. So thank you Poppop Ruffing for the best childhood memories. You will be missed and I am so glad I got to see you in December. Lots of love to my capemay family <3

Cheri, I am so sorry to hear about your dad. I always remember him being fun to be around and very hard working. My most beloved memory of your dad is when he popped the clutch and we came tumbling down off of 50? bales of hay we just loaded and then had to reload. All he did was laugh (a lot) and watch us load it again. My love to all of you, especially your mom. Take care.
