To the Russo Family,
Joe taught me everything I know about Pool playing , and a great mentor on life. I played in Family Billiards on Artic Parkway 7 days a week, 8 hours a day for approx 8 months. I got to meet a lot of great people through Joe.
Rest in peace buddy.

Jesus! what a Help in sorrow!
While the billow o'er me roll,
Even when my heart is breaking,
He, my Comfort, helps my soul.
Bobby I remember your dad telling me about his pool championships back in the day when I cleaned for him after your mom passed. He was somthing else but he made me laugh.

To Robert & Family
I enjoy knowing your father. He was a very nice gentleman. You and the family have my condolences.

He was so overjoyed you would think it was his grandchild. I did meet him again years later and he still remembered the call. He was amd will remaine a true gentleman. He will be missed. My...

Joe and I around 1970 after I won the City Nine Ball Tournament

To The Russo Family,
Joe Russo was a one of a kind that will never be replaced. He was like a father and a brother to me at the same time. I spent practically every day with him from about 1969-1978 learning and enjoying his company. He was a great pool player beating almost every great player of his day and knew as much about the game as anyone on earth. He was very talented with his hands and could fix anything, put a tip on better than they do today with a machine and without question...
