Not sure what to say?

My father, Everett Johnson served with Joe Sarno in the 4th Marine Division. I met Joe through the 4th Div. Reunions. He always had a way of making those around him laugh, and will be greatly missed. Our thoughts and prayers go out to Joe's family and friends.

My dad, Everett Johnson, served in the Marines (4th Division) and they were good friends. I have fond memories of Joe when I attended the reunions with my father. My sympathies to the family on your loss.

I have fond memories of spending many hours at the Sarno home on Princeton St. The Crowley's and Sarno's were next- door neighbors, and Sue was my life-long friend.

It's sad to lose so many people we care for, but our memories are forever and we'll meet again some day!

As President Of the Second Marine Division Assoc. our prayers from Pat and I and All our members are with Joe's Family. Will miss a true Friend. SEMPER FI Joe--til we meet again! Vinny

SEMPER FI

I knew Joe from Marine Corps Reserve days and over the recent years as a Toys for Tots volunteer. I am currently the President and CEO of the New England Shelter for Homeless Veterans in Boston. May he rest in peace.
