Bishop Joe led a group of us (not his first) to Lourdes, France around 1991-2. My son, Sean, then 13, made his Confirmation there with Bishop Joe. Sean was not cured of his physical ailment but his Spiritual soared. Bishop Joe was a true Man of God, Faithful plus a positive friend. He also, in retirement, celebrated Sean's funeral Mass, of which I am still very grateful. May you rest and sing and dance with Our Lord and our Mother Mary and the Angels, Bishop Joe!!
