I was so saddened to hear of the sudden death of "Uncle Joe." I will always remember him from the Sunday spaghetti dinners from long ago and how especially proud he was of Karen and Lori and his grand-nieces and grand-nephews.
You are all in my thoughts and prayers.

Mr. Sauro would come in the office at Resurrection Cemetery and visit. He would always be the first to bring in his card to order a wreath and Memorial Day flowers for his mother and later his father. He always had a smile on his face. He would call me the queen. A few times he would bring a box of candy for the office. He will always be remembered. My deepest sympathy to your family.

I first met Joe many years ago when he was working for Corrections,I worked in the same building. Every morning, for ten years, Joe and I and a couple of others met for coffee before work. We had alot of laughs to start the day with and I'll never forget him.
My sincere condolences to your family.

I first met Joe when he was the elevator operator at the State Office Building in St. Paul--must have been in 1964. He always had a friendly word. When he worked for DOC he was always especially helpful to me. It was good to keep seeing him at the Retired Corrections People lunchons.
