Not sure what to say?

Of the people I remember on this day, you and Joe always come to mind. Thanking God for bringing you into our lives. Sophia LOVES Centre, and is very glad to claim it as her school. We gave her a history of Centre as a Christmas gift. Blessings to you and those in our shared family.

Dear Roselle, Mary and loving family,
I just learned today of Joe's passing and send my heartfelt condolences for your loss. I remember Joe's humor most of all; he always made me laugh. I hope your happy memories of him will soon help you smile again.
Love,
Margo

I am one of Ruth and Red Nuckols daughters. Joe Scales was a wonderful friend to my parents and I still have warm memories of visiting his home and attending UVA football games with his family. May he rest in peace with our Lord.

My dear friend Ola Yoder spoke so highly of Mr. Scales and the entire Scales family. I remember well those sad days when Grace was taken from you all. I know there will be joy in Heaven when Mr. Scales and his daughter are reunited.

Our sadness is more than made up by our joy in knowing that Joe is in the company of that "great cloud of witnesses" through the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ. We miss you and pray you will have a chance to visit Grace Yoder and come see us at the same time. Blessings and love,

Aunt Roselle & Family

May God Bless you and keep you during this time. The family is in our thoughts & prayers.

Roselle and Family ~
So sorry to learn of Joe's passing. I didn't even know you all were in S.C., but glad you were with your daughter and family there. "Mr. Scales" was a Goochland Co. character who I was very fond of. He always spoke in his charming way and I appreciate all you both did for my family while we rented from you at Fife.
Sincerely,
