Read MoreJoe and my husband, Bennie Padgett grew up across the street from each other in S.E. Washington and remained friends and golf buddies all their lives. He spent many Sundays at our house watching the Redskins. In later years we would meet for breakfast at Dennys. Bennie passed away two years ago. I'm sure he met his old friend.
