Not sure what to say?

My deepest condolences to the entire family. I was a stranger who arrived in Cleveland in July 2000 to work for VanDorn Demag. Joe took me home for dinner after my second day in office. He drove me all the way to show me the Niagra falls. He treated me as though we had known each other for decades. I left the US in Sep 2000 and I used to remember Joe whenever I passed the Schaeffer church next to my home in India. I still have a photo with me with Joe Senior, Joe, Irma and Emily. I will...

My deepest sympathy. You are all in my thoughts and prayers. Pop was a wonderful man.

We are so sorry for your loss, Joe and the entire Schaeffer family.

Our sincerest condolences.

My deepest sympathy to all of Joe's family. May he be at eternal rest in the light of God.

Joe and I built the first injection unit at Strongsville Van Dorn in 1972, when I was just a young man with little experience. All through the years he gave good advise and direction. Polka on Joe.

I worked with Joe for many years at Van Dorn I'm sorry for your loss he will be missed. He was a great man Steve Bures (parma}

My thoughts and prayers are with the entire Schaeffer family. What a wonderful and loving family. I will always treasure my time spent with Pop and the stories he used to tell. I am a far better person for knowing Pop and the entire Schaeffer family.

Pop, I already miss you and will love you forever.

Joe was one of the guys that helped train me on the machines when I came to the Cleveland area for Van Dorn in 1976 . I learned a lot from him that I used on my travels as a Service Engineer . He was always glad to see me when I happened to be in the factory after I moved here in 1986. Please accept my sympathy for your loss. Kurt Marlink (Columbia Station)

I am so sorry to hear about the passing of Mr. Schaeffer. Our time on Dennis Lane will always live in our memories. He has joined my mother and father in heaven.
My thoughts and prayers are with you.

I worked with Joe at Van Dorn for years.
He was one of the nicest people I have ever met. May he rest in peace.
