Joe will be missed at the Gettysburg Area School District. Joe was a kind man that worked to help students. I remember when Dollars for Scholars was starting, he was so happy to help provide much needed funds for graduating seniors. Yes, GASD will miss Joe Schaeffer. May God bless you and your family.

I've known Joe since 4th grade at Wrightsville Elementary. He was absolutely one of the kindest, gentlest, friendliest people that I've ever known...even back then. Rest in peace Joe...see you again someday.

HE WAS SUCH A KIND PERSON WE HAVE GOTTEN TO KNOW.
HE WAS A PATRON OF OUR AUCTION FOR YEARS.
HE EVEN HAD A PERMANET BIDDER NUMBER AT OUR SALE.
IF HE COULD NOT MAKE IT TO SALE, HE WOULD CALL US AND LEAVE AN
ABSENTEE BID.
