Not sure what to say?

I hope the family endures from an amazing legacy of memories. I miss the Spanish Burgers, does anyone know the recipe?

So sorry to hear of your loss. I had many great years at the pool. My mother, Louise Goodwin wishes to pass on her condolences as well. May angels sweetly sing Jack to his rest.

Sally and family, so sorry to learn of your loss. I never knew your father, but he sounds like a wonderful man. I hope you find some comfort in your memories and each other.

Dear Lois, Sally, and Mike

I just want to say how much Jack Schmidt and Philipps Aquatic Club meant to me growing up in Dayton. My sister (Debby Dryden) and I were on the swimming team for several years. We remember the great times we had at Coney Island or Lesourdsville Lake celebrating team wins many years in the 1960s. I also remember walking from my home near Forest Park Plaza all the way down Riverside Drive across the Helena Street Bridge to get to Philipps Pool. That way...

So sorry to hear of his passing! I learned to swim at Phillips and will never forget the place. One memory I have of the pool is the constant playing of "The Battle of New Orleans" when it came out on the jukebox there! Also, playing Little League baseball with Mike. May he rest in peace and let God watch over him!
