I was a fortunate person to have been given the opportunity to spend time with Joe this past 7-months. I have learned a lot from this man, who throughout his life has always given to others. Joe was a person close to his wife, and his children. His dedication to his family that I saw was really heart warming to me. During some very difficult days health wise that Joe had, somehow he would make you smile with his easy going ways. Joe accepted his illness and put himself in the hands of God....

TO THE SCHRECK FAMILY,
I HAVE FOND MEMORIES OF MY UNCLE JOE.HE ALWAYS MADE ME LAUGH. WE SPEND MANY WEEKENDS AT YOUR HOUSE WHEN WE WERE KIDS. AND MANY TIMES HE WANTED TO SEND US HOME IN THE MIDDLE OF THE NIGHT. BECAUSE WE WERE LAUGHING AND MAKING TOO MUCH NOISE.I LIKED WHEN HE GOT EXCITED HE WOULD RUB HIS HAND TOGETHER AND RUB HIS FACE. I'M SO HAPPY HE WAS MY UNCLE I WILL REMEMBER HIM AND WILL ALWAYS LOVE HIM.GOD BLESS YOU ALL IN THIS MOST DIFFICULT TIME.LOVE LINDA

I love him very much!!! He was a great husband and father!!! It was a wonderful experience being his wife and mother of his children. He was selfless and always put the needs of his family first. He was always by my side and supported me in all of life's challenges. He will always be in my heart !!!

My dad was the best!!!! One of my favorite memories when I received perfect attendance I received White Sox tickets , we went to the game and had a great time!! Dad, I love you and will carry that love in my heart always.

One of my favorite memories with my father was when I was a little girl, I would pretend to be sleeping on the coach so that he would carry me to bed. I loved being his baby girl!!!! I will miss him until we meet again in heaven. With all my love, Kitty Kat
