Not sure what to say?

Hi, I am trying to find information about a very old friend, Joseph Sclafani who fought in the Korean War. He bore a strong resemblance to your recently departed Joseph Sclafani. As a child, I too went to St Finbar’s. Later I went to Brooklyn College. I am now 87. Joe was about my age or a little older.
Please let me know if you are related to him. After all those years he came into my mind this week. I hope someone wll answer me.

I am sorry for your loss. Grief never ends....

Vivian, I came upon the obituary and learned about Joe's passing by coincience while doing a search for something unrelated. Although its been many years since we have seen each other, I recognized his picture immediately. My deepest condolences to you and your family. It was so sad to hear about your loss. Joseph was such a nice kid and I remember him well from my days at St Finbar's. And from what I read about him , he grew up to be a wonderful man. My prayers are with you and your...

My family is saddened by Joe's passing. He was my best friend at St Finbar. Vivian, I am so sorry I haven't kept in touch. Joe was truly one of the best people on this earth!

I knew Joe when he first started as a police officer; I was with MPD then & helped him break in as the Unit 3 beat cop. Please accept my condolences in your loss & know that Joe was always well thought of & respected for his kindness and fairness.

Dear Vivian and the Sclafani Family -

I am so sad to hear that Joey lost his battle :( You don't know me but his mom Joan and his dad do. Our family the Milano's grew up down the street from the Sclafani's and my mom Betty was very good friends with Joan. They use to work together for the church St Finbar's and my mom use to work with Joan on the Bazaar. About a year ago I was searching for people that I grew up with in Besonhurst and found Joe on Facebook and had several...
