Not sure what to say?

I am an employee at key bank where joseph R Scorza R.I.P God mother banks. I am so sorry to hear about the loss that will never be replacable. I hope god gives the family strength and patient to coup through this difficult time.

I've been thinking about what to say but really there aren't any words to explain how terribly tragic this is...and how sorry I am...or how much I wish some sort of peace for my godmother Linda and cousin Maria...but what I can say is that Joey is forever my hero...HE's my American Idol...my daughters are raised in a free country because of Joey and young men and women like him and for that I am forever grateful.

Aunt Jean, Great Grandma and Grandpa, and all the rest must have...

Don't think of him as gone away his journey's just begun, life holds so many facets, this earth is only one. Just think of him as resting from the sorrows and the tears in a place of warmth and comfort where there are no days and years. Think how he must be wishing that we could know today how nothing but our sadness can really pass away. And think of him as living in the hearts of those he touched, for nothing loved is ever lost and he was loved so much.

Unfortunately, I have not see Joe since the good times that we shared in high school. Joe had a free-spirited way about him, making his company easy, enjoyable, and fun. His big smile and delightful personality go unforgettable. His time served in the military is honorable and appreciated. I truely hope that Joe had a happy and proud life here on earth. It is a tragedy that it has ended. My heart goes out to Joe and his family/friends. Joe, thank you for all of the smiles and rock on man!

Linda and family,

I'm so very sorry for your loss. My heart is breaking for you. Please accept my deepest condolences. If you ever need a shoulder to lean on I'm here. God bless!

I did not know your son. I read about him in the TU. As a fellow graduate of Shaker High School - Class of 1980, I salute him. I THANK him for fighting for our freedom. I THANK his family for letting him fight for all of us. My prayers go out to all of you. We salute you Joey. May you be at PEACE now.

He received his injuries in Iraq. Joey was not only my nephew, but more like a son. We had great times and memories. He kept to himself, but loved and respected everybody. He's at a greater place that we cannot even imagine. He will be missed and always in our hearts. Joey, I salute you not only as a fellow soldier, but as a great person. I LOVE YOU JOEY!!!!

Linda and Maria! I am so sorry for your lose! I remember hanging with your family when we lived in Florida back in the 70's! Jim and Joan O'Toole were friends of yours back in the 70's! I do remember Joseph when he was just a little baby! God bless Joey for his bravery and making his country a better place! May he rest in peace!!

I did not know your son but I read his story in the Times Union. In his short life he saw alot of things that would haunt all Americans. I will pray for you all during this difficult time. Thank you and God bless you Joey for serving this country and protecting my freedom.
