“Bro” Joe: A Bright Star Lights the Heavens

Uncle Joe’s visit meant my big break into show biz! I gathered my brothers and sisters, as well as the neighborhood kids and we prepared a backyard musical production that was sure to knock Uncle Joe’s socks off. As the guest of...

Joe:

God Bless on your journey to a new place!

The universe has truly lost a "one of a kind". Uncle Joe you will be missed by all who knew you. Onward and upward, excelsior.

Uncle Joe: once on a snowy New Year's Eve, it might have been 1959, 1960, 1961, you were with us in Rutherford. you coaxed my mom to come outside for midnight sleigh riding to the top of our West Newell hill. I thrilled at seeing my mom and you enjoying, laughing and sharing fun and happiness with us. thank you for loving moments.

Uncle Joe, We raised our glasses to you last night at Thanksgiving Dinner. We shared good memories of your visits to the east coast. We love you and will remember you. Your Niece, Ginny

flamboyant uncle joe, vw bug, irish dogs, greenwich village lofts with skylights, my first memories of Manhattan museums and central park. then, many years later on the west coast, putting up Des and I after our Route 66 drive across country and then Mary and I as newly married, he and Penny are still my model of what gracious hosts can be. and less in his later years. a trip to the Frick and a wine bar afterwards. thanks, joe

Uncle Joe,
"May God Bless and Keep
You Always..."

Your Niece Jeanmarie

Your sister Virginia

Joe, I will miss your quick wit. It was a pleasure to get to know you at the MPTH. May the Peace of the Lord be with you.
