Not sure what to say?

I am so sad. I can't even say that I knew Joe. I worked with him at Airnet, although I never had the chance to fly with him. I would see him atleast every other day at Denver and I doubt we exchanged more than a few words at one time but for many years I came across him there and never saw anything but gentle kindness from him to others. And more kind words that I could use to describe what I saw of him but I will let others who knew better have that privilege.

I have thought of...

My condolences to the Seaborn Family! I had the pleasure of working with Joe for many years at AirNet! He was very kind and sincere and I'm sure he will be missed. Celebrate Life!

I grew up next to Joe, I was completely shocked when I got the news of Joe's passing. We hung out together growing up, but after high school lost touch. We made a lot of great memories with a lot of fun times. In high school we were in the Concert Choir. Joe was a year older and therefore my driver. We had some great times and parties in choir. We double dated and my then girl friend would become my wife. I am so sorry we lost touch, life is too short. Joe was truely a great guy,...

I was in Joe's 3rd grade class, and he brought in a big bucket of seashells from a recent vacation for show & tell and then passed it around the room for us to each take a few. I had never had or touched a seashell before and thought only the really smart people like him got to go to those places and have those things, and so I was very, very happy that he shared them with us/me ....

Joe was a genuine person to all he met. I enjoyed working with him for a good number of years at U.S. Check/ AirNet and keeping in touch with him over the years. I was truly saddened today to learn a friend has left us. I never had the pleasure of meeting you, Amalia and Owen, but Joe talked about you often. He enjoyed flying,Miatas and other things but he LOVED his family. I am sorry for your loss.

I worked with Joe at AirNet... I had the pleasure of talking with him every night at the beginning of his shift. He was always friendly and very respectful, that always stood out to me. I wish him well on his journey.

I first met Joe back in 1993. He was a pilot for US Check, and I flew with him until my own route opened up. I liked him right away, and we had many interests in common like guitar, motor sports, snowboarding, and the outdoors. We more or less stayed in touch over the years. I last talked with him back in April. He had lost his flying job and wanted to hear about my experiences since I had just gone through the same thing. In spite of difficult circumstances, his optimism was very...

I flew with Joe for many years at US Check / AirNet and considered him a good friend and pilot. Joe was always such a nice easy going guy, even keeled and kind to everyone - a pleasure to be around. I wish more people, myself included, could be more like him in their daily lives. I know too well the pain that Joe's family must be feeling right now, and my heart goes out to them. You are in my thoughts and prayers, God bless.

Best wishes to Joe's family- I flew with Joe at OSU and Airnet- he was a great man and one of the nicest people I ever met. I'm so sorry for your loss.
